Spicy Paleo Chicken Skillet
A delicious, protein-packed spicy Paleo chicken skillet (or air fryer) recipe with a spicy kick and a creamy, dairy-free dip.

Ingredients
Spicy Chicken
- 1 lb chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for more heat)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Juice of 1/2 lime
Healthy Dip (Dairy-Free)
- 1 ripe avocado
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 small garlic clove
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 1–2 tbsp water (to thin)
- Sea salt & black pepper to taste
- Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
Equipment
- Large skillet
- Air fryer
- Blender or food processor
- Mixing bowl
Instructions
Spicy Chicken – Skillet
- In a bowl, toss chicken with avocado oil, spices, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–7 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
Spicy Chicken – Air Fryer
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss chicken with oil, spices, lime juice, salt, and pepper.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, shaking halfway through, until cooked and slightly crispy.
Healthy Dip (Dairy-Free)
- Add all dip ingredients to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy. Add water as needed to reach desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Serve chicken hot with dip on the side.
